Mutual Aid is a great way to contribute. Here in the Bay Area Bay Resistance has created an “action pod” structure. These are local, neighborhood or close geographic groups that come together to do actions, patrols, mutual aid, etc. It has been extremely helpful to have an amazing group of people who are building trusting relationships and showing up in so many ways! I highly recommend it!
It was originally geographically assigned people. I help facilitate the pod. Over time we built relationships and we have been growing through connections we make in the community! I highly recommend it.
I've been waiting for your column, hoping to hear some way to think about Minneapolis, and you've delivered. Thank you. Mutual aid... for me that will mean sharing meals more often with my neighbors.
